Guest Anonymous
Dear Forum, I have just been given a brand new MZ-N510, and have been trying to hook up the NetMD feature with the PC. After a *lot* of fiddling, the computer and the player now recognise each other. However, the PC only recognises the player when it contains no disc. If I insert a disc (I have Maxell 80minute MDs), the PC cannot find the player. The player itself insists that a connection still exists, and it starts to whirr the disc around, ignoring all input from its keypad (ie. it cannot be turned off, short of removing the battery). Does anyone know if there is an obvious fault anywhere along the line. The things I can think of are that I have a dodgy Player, USB cable, software, or that it doesn't like to use non-Sony discs. Any opinions are greatly appreciated! Rob
Guest Anonymous
Also, as I do not yet have any pre-recorded MDs, I don't know if they will play error-free in my player.
Guest Anonymous
Never mind, it was my own fault that it didn't work. I was too overeager to charge the battery fully before trying to transfer, and the player didn't like that..
Guest Anonymous
I have the exact same problem except I hooked my MD to the plug adaptor and It does the same thing no matter what I do.
