I took it down to my local sony shop and they said it would be 80pounds to repair. I might aswell buy a new player at that price. However they did say i could try a DIY job. I have been concidering this and would like to know anyones opinion and advice. They said I could force the plastic screen out and replace it with something i will have to make myself.
