Guest Anonymous Posted January 23, 2004 Report Share Posted January 23, 2004 Yes. Clipping is sonething that happens which damages the sound quality when you raise the volume too high. The solution to this problem is to choose a lower volume to MP3gain all your MP3's to. Otherwise, you can set these MP3's aside and just MP3gain them lower. The good thing is, the damage is not permanent, since its just an effect of some values in the file being too high for an MP3 decoder to read the signal properly.
