Guest Anonymous
Just an idea, can a third party make a little tiny mp3 player that can plug to the Hi-MD player via the USB port, and play and write mp3 files from and to the Hi-MD ? Bypassing all that nonsense of Sony. No more hassle with openMG, copyright protection or SCMS. ----------- Hi-MD USB ---------mp3 /wav player----------earphone -----------

highlandsun
It's a fine idea, but still, ATRAC (any version) sounds better than MP3 (any bitrate). I personally am looking forward to building an ATRAC music library and junking MP3s...
Guest Anonymous
Makes only sense, when you encode new material. Transcoding MP3s isn't improving anything. With best regards Jadeclaw
