Guest Anonymous
Well now it all makes sense, I shopped around this Christmas for minidisc products here in the UK, only to be told by smartass salesmen that MD was a dead duck, IPOD and MP3 were so much better.....but I just couldnt get it, as none of these products do what I want, and never will.....where had all the microsystems, the boomboxes gone???? why did my local Sony centre only have 1 microsystem in stock. I was pretty pissed off about it and I thought MD was just going to be reduced to an expensive tool for the media and theatre industries, although it didnt make sense and as long as it was possible to buy MDs, I was sticking with the format I vowed. I dont want to use fragile CDs and DVDs I LIKE MY MINIDISKS!!! Then Yesterday, I came across this site.....Minidisc is not only alive, but it is about to give all those plastic covered MP3 encoders a kick up the ASS....GO SONY GO GO GO!!! Lets hope Sony have learned from their marketing failures, and lets see this fantastic and flexible format make its way back into cars, boomboxes and Hi Fi systems....not to mention the DATA possibilities. I for one am VERY pleased about this development:
badandy
I just found this site today. after owning my MD-player for about 2 months, i can say i am pleased with my purchase. I don't really like sonic stage, but who cares, i think its worth the trouble...anyway, i come and see that there is gonna be this new type of MD and i'm like wow...seriously, me and my friend were just talking today about what sony did wrong with MD and why it didn't dominate. well they have their chance again in my opinion. lets hope they play there cards right.
