Guest Anonymous
Hi, when I do live recording using my old Sony MZ-R50 I get it all set up then slide the Hold Button across to avoid any accidental paueing/stopping of the recording etc. I now have a Sharp DR470, and what I want to know is this - 1) If I set it up to do a mic-input recording, put the MD into REC mode and adjust the levels etc, then start recording, will it continue to record if I then set HOLD on to avoid the accidental stopping etc (as mentioned above) ? - or will it not record anything and just act as if it is paused ? 2) Also, (it may have been asked before, sorry), can I set the rec levels on the fly using the remote, and if so will I have to set HOLD off to do this and then set HOLD back on again after the adjustment ? (see Q1) 3) Last one, I saw a post 'somewhere' on this forum, which did a translation 'table of levels' for recording - eg level 10 = xDb, level 24 = Db etc, any ideas where or what it was? All help appreciated, Ta Simon
