Guest Anonymous
hello, i have just bought an md-mt180h; but there isn't an battery box supplied with it. So i wanna make it myself, and also that I can put more batteries in it, so it will last longer. Does anyone know how to do that. The contacts for the external battery are not something like a hole, where you can plug something in, it's something where the external battery box much make contact, and that's all; or could i just make an eternal battey box, which gives 5 volt; (i think that would even be better, No? KJ_Palmer
Why not use the DC adaptor in instead of the external battery slot? You should be able to get a ready-made battery box from an electrical supplier and the adaptor would be standard. I know you can get these things from Maplin Electronics in the UK, they even do nice little boxes to keep things tidy. The MD-MT180 uses 4.5V DC in (I think) , so three Alkalines should power it for a good long time I should think. Anyway, just a suggestion...
