95% complete -N10 Jamming (and not like bob marley!)

hi guys,

got a japanese N10 and SS version 5.5 (?)

whenever I move stuff to my minidisc using sonic stage it copies 95% of it then jams in the data save mode. I have to unplug the unit and manually turn off the inbuilt battery. every time.

but once in a blue moon its good as gold!

anyone else have this problem?

I'd really like it to work everytime ( maybe far fetched with SS).

is it the driver or the SS software? I need to re install?

does anyone have the Japanese N10 driver as its different from the normal NetMD driver.

Ive got backups of everything else.

I have the same prob, got a british model. I have to chop and change between realone player and SS/Open MG

Its SO temperamental. I dont know what causes it.
