Guest Anonymous
I can get the Sharp MT180 for about a 100$, or the newer SharpMD-DR480/MD-DR7 for the going rate of 250$. What would be the better choice, money is a factor but some of the reasoning for going big is that: A) Will have to buy a preamp fo record lecture/live music for the 180 along with mic's, and if so will this put me up to about 250$. I am mostly wanting to record lectures and random musical events. Along with listening to plenty of music from my collection. Quick Help is appreciated. Guest Anonymous
Get the newer Sharp, no contest. You don't want to have to carry around an extra preamp (or even a $60 battery box), and the newer models have newer and better recording and playback circuitry. Guest Anonymous
Hey Newguy, What did you decide to do? If you haven't made a decision yet, I've got a BRAND NEW Sharp MT190 and new stereo mic (no preamp needed) I'll sell for well below the $250 you'd pay for the other Sharp models. If you're interested, email me at stevenjino@yahoo.com for more information. Best wishes.
