Dimora
Hello everyone, I am in the market for an MD recorder. I was interested in one since my friend let me borrow his to record one of my scoring sessions for class. Despite it being in mono because of the mic I was using, I was fairly impressed with the quality. I am in possession of a modest home recording studio for my music production business and I am interesting in doing my own SFX and foley for some of my projects and thought and MD would be a good venture to follow. I have seen a lot of people complaining about there not being a digital I/O on MDs. Would it possible to take a 1/8" male to 2 phono male plugs Y cable and plug them into an audio recorder such as the Tascam US-122? It's just a thought. I am too new to MDs to be certain that it would work. In theory it should work but I'm having a hell of a time finding the proper cables. I was looking at some of the newer models such as the MiniDisc Business Recorder MZ-B100 but it's a bit out of my price range. But if it's what would best suit my needs, I'd be willing to shell out for it. Any thougts or suggestions? Congrats on a great-looking and informative site!
