Guest Anonymous
Hi, I am having real trouble recording to myMZ-N910. Every time I try to record to my MD I get an error with CD recorder code 1 and I have no idea what this means. It occurs after converting the first track to ATRAC and just as it's about to record on the MD. I dont think its a problem with the MD itself as the exact same error occurs when I try to import music from CD to the Hard drive aswell :?: I have lost count of the number of times I have re-installed Sonic stage all to no avail, the same problem occurs everytime. I am running windows XP pro SP1 if thats any help. Short of formatting windows and installing again (which I really dont want to do) I am pulling my hair out here  the only other thing I can think of is my dog "may" have pulled the USB cable out while transferring music across, at the time I didn't think it had disconnected but now I am not so sure and it hasn't been able to record since so I am thinking maybe the connection was interupted  Any help would be greatly appreciated

Guest Anonymous
A little update, I have installed sonic stage on my brothers PC and what do you know, it all works perfectly, so at least its not my MD but a fault with my PC/software. Is there any way to completely remove this from my PC to start again a fresh? Any help will be most gratefully appreciated, Thanks

Guest Anonymous
Well, I have e-mailed sony with this problem and am awaiting a reply, hopefully they will be able to tell me what all this error code 1 is all about. I can't believe nobody else on this forum has had this problem :? :?:
onlykaria
if i understand correctly when ever you try to transfer music to your minidisc, whether by sonic stage, simpleburner, or real one... if that is so this is what i think: i think you should try realplayer 10, if you still have problems with realplayer 10, then i would have to say that there is a problem with you NET MD HARDWARE. its unlikely that ALL those programs would continue to crash in the same way unless there is something wrong with the NETMD and its unable to record music anymore. also try real time recording and see if it gives you the same problem. Guest Anonymous
there is not a problem with my hardware as I can record to my MD player using basic sonicstage (no updates) on my brothers PC. How do I use Real player10, do I need any plugins or anything like that? Thanks for your help, not heard anything back from Sony at al
onlykaria
if you are sure you hardware is fine you should try real player 10 i think its real . com and just click around till you find the free version of 10 yes you need plugins but real will guide you through it and get the plug ins
