Guest Anonymous
I have had a Sharp MDMS702 and a Sony MD Unit in the past and found that only the Sharp allowed me to adjust the mic level without having to press stop then adjust then press record again. Is this the case with all Sharp units?? I am looking at buying some of the cheaper Sharp units in the UK, but I can not do without this function when at a live gig? Any tips on the best units in the UK would be appreciated otherwise I'll just stick with what I've had before. Thanks Francis
KJ_Palmer
Yes, I believe all Sharps have "on-the-fly" level adjusting. I have the MD-MT290, MD80 and MT88 - you can't get much cheaper than that and they all have it...
Guest Anonymous
Thanks Kevin, could I just confirm that all the models you mentioned take an external mic??? I seen that some of the cheaper ones do not. I need one with an external mic socket for recording live gigs.
