tmeg
I did not have this problem, but perhaps you should try the other setting. There is a small switch at the side for analog-digital and digital-only. Perhaps one of it works. I also found that I can not record from MD to PC if the music is track-protected and the soundblaster is in digital-analog mode. In digital-only mode it records everything fine :!:
madoka
I tried both mode : digital / analog or digital only. both come up with the same thing --- "NO SIGNAL"....
tmeg
Does the blue LED blink at the top and does the optical out give a red glow? I mean that would be the minimum requirements. Then the cable could be defective or wrong or the mp3 needs to be repaired / exchanged. I hope you get this problem solved Last possibility is to go the shop where you bought this thing and let it be checked.
