Guest Anonymous
I know very little about minidisc recorders. I was interested in purchasing a minidisc recorder with the absolute best recording capabilities for recording live music. I am a drummer in an acoustic jazz band and would very much like to record when we play. In addition, is there any way to download this information easily on a computer and then burn on a compact disc. I would like to listen to this music primarily in my car. Any information will be very helpful. Also would it be benefical to wait until Hi-MD. Thank you.
jadeclaw
Go for Hi-MD. You can record in Linear-PCM-Mode, which is according to the specs identical to the data format on an audio cd, giving the same high quality. In addition, you can upload the recordings to the pc via USB, which is much faster as well. Then simply burn the stuff on cd... A NH900 is on the list for me, when they come out here in Germany.
