Hi,

I have an MZ-N10 and am using SonicStage v1.5.06.12030 and cannot check in tracks recorded on my device using a microphone.

I right click on track, select 'Check In', the 'Processing' dialog box is shown then a message pops up with 'Check In Failed' error.

Any ideassuggestion greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Marc.

Welcome to the MiniDisc Community Forums.

Please take a look at the NetMD FAQ 'stickied' at the top of the NetMD subsection.

4. NetMD IS NOT CAPABLE OF AUDIO UPLOADING, meaning you can't use NetMD to get music from your md to your computer. The only current way to get audio from your md to your PC is to have your md play the disk while the computer records it. Plug a cable with a headphones jack on each end into the the md and the other end into your PC soundcard's line in. Go to this link for some software to help you out:http://forums.minidisc.org/viewtopic.php?t=435

However, later this year, with the release of the new format, Hi-MD, users making new recordings onto Hi-MD discs with Hi-MD units will be able to digitally upload recordings, but unable to upload older recordings on older discs.

Thanks for the info.

I suppose I'll have to go back to my Sony PCLK-U5 gadget (after I brush the dust off it!).

Marc.
