Hey

Ive searched the forums and I havent found a solution to this problem. I have a MZ-NE410, and recently, I cannot seem to transfer files to my MD. It was working fine days ago. I have tried to transfer the files with both Sonicstage and Real. With Real I click on copy files, it says "One or more files could not be transferred. Please make sure there is sufficient space on your portable device, and that the file types you are transferring are supported." When I try to format the minidisc, it says "Format Failed" I have tried transfering many other songs, I have tried using a different disc, and I have tried to reinstall my software. What can I do? Any response would really be appreciated.

Did you uninstall everything the way dr. iceeedtea prescribed?

yep, or at least i think i did it right.

i was able to get ss2 going but it said that i had the count was zero on all my music even songs i had never uploaded, so maybe i didnt do it right, and the real player just had the message that theres no room on the disc even on a blank disc... sad.gif... i am going to get the HI-MD when it comes out so the fact that netmd is not record is not the biggest deal in the world, but it would be nice to get it working....

Sounds like it could be a driver issue. If reinstalling the software won't work, and your player/recorder is fine, and the media isn't hosed... it could be that the software can't talk to the drive because of a hosed driver.

I would try uninstalling all of the software, deleting the directories, then, with the device connected, go into your control panel and go to add/remove hardware, and uninstall the MD device. That should delete all of the driver files. Then unplug it, restart the computer, and reinstall all the software and reconnect the MD device. See if that works.
