FrankMD-Mac
Hi guys, first time poster here so apologies if this is answered elsewhere already & I've yet to find it. I have a Sharp MD; MD-MT90 and I'm trying to suss out how to transfer tracks from my MD to my Mac. The Mac in question is a G3 powerpc with OS9.1 on it. I do have a digital cable that came with the MD, but thinking that's only really for CD-MD usage. The back of the mac had two usb ports and a couple of regular red/white sockets. What I want to know is; a- is it possible to transfer from MD - Mac. b- if so how & how easy c- do i need extra software and from where also, any experience on this from other users is a great pointer. As I've said I haven't seen (yet) any queries like this, so if this has been discussed before, whatever the outcome, could I be directed to it? Many thanks in advance for any help that may come. Best wishes, Frank
Christopher
Not sure what software you'll need for this process, but what you can do is: get a male-to-male stereo cable, hook that up to your headphone out on the unit and hook the other end to the Mic in on the computer. Then you would press play on the unit and record on the computer and create tracks that way. Hopefully someone will chime in about the software bit! You could also use a deck with a digital out and utilize a soundcard with a digital in for digital uploading..
