I recently suffered a OS failure on the the computer, I was able using a linux boot disc to save to an external drive all my 'Documents and Setting' and 'Program Files' data.

I have reinstalled by SonicStage and have copied all the music tracks back to the packages directory, but when I try to play, SonicStage complains about unable to retrieve copyright information.

Can anyone tell me where the copyright info is stored, and will I have managed to save it from the two directory structures I saved?

I found that I needed to copy the C:Program FilesCommon FilesSony Shared as I believe all the copyright info is kept in the OpenMG folder below ..Sony Shared

Once I had copied all that I could over (complained about one exe being in use), I started SS, and selected a track - it told me that the file wasn't quite correct and it need to do a restore, SS started the restore automatically (I had never manually executed a backup - so not sure where it was getting the restore info - maybe just realigning the DB)

I then restarted SS, selected a track and played the track successfully - and even had the correct checkouts noted

(Just checked out the Ojbsir.exe - looks like that's what SS kicked of - not sure if it would have worked if I hadn't copied over the contents of the ..Sony SharedOpenMGprocfile dir)
