I'm going to trevel in USA (cleveland) and I want to buy my unit there (I live in Israel, and here the price is twice...) I'm sorry about my bad english... Hope that someone will help me (else god..) Christopher
What is your budget?
vekayyam
I can spend around 230$ the question is: what is the real diferance between, let say n610 to n1, other than the backlight lcd, and magnesium shild. If there is a noticeable differance in hearing quality... , I prepar to pay more than that... thanX bro
Christopher
I wouldn't go with either, but if I had to pick I'd go with a N10 or N910/N920. Have you considered a newer-generation Sharp unit with digital amp? Do you require NetMD [there are other ways to get *.mp3's to MD other than this process]. Also, have you heard of Hi-MD? vekayyam
i thought about The 920/910 but letter on i saw that it cannot be found in USA only at europe or japan (I hope that you'll tell me I'm wrong...). Hi-Md is too new, I'll let others experiance it first... plaese help me choose I'm flying in 2 days!!!!
Christopher
You should purchase the unit from an e-tailer like Minidisco or audiocubes. The relevant addresses are in the "links" section at the top of the forums.
BJ
As far as the unit you're most likely to find on the shelf, how about the Sony MZ-NF810? The remote is not backlit, but it's a good machine otherwise, and you'll find it at Best Buy, Circuit City or possibly even a larger Target or Wal-Mart store. But Kurisu is right--you'd have more to choose from if you shop online, like at Minidisco. Good luck!
