vadim321go
I need some help. I re-installed all the sonic stage and openmg stuff. My player still does not work. While trying to transfer songs to the md is says that the remaining transfer count is zero. I am not sure what to do and any help would be appreciated. iceeedtea
Read this. During installation, tell it to re-create a new database for you. After installation, you will need to re-import your media and re-convert it to ATRAC3. Or, you could try and tell it to use the existing database, but I am not quite sure if it works that way. The advantage that SonicStage 2.0 has over OpenMG 2.2/SonicStage 1.5 is that it has unlimited checkouts. However, some restrictions still apply on the songs on the actual disc. vadim321go
its not letting me convert it to atrac because sonic stage does not support the format of the file... wtF!!! why does this have to be so difficult
iceeedtea
Well, what file format are you attempting to convert? SonicStage only allows conversion of .wav and .mp3 to ATRAC3/ATRAC3+. SonicStage does not allow you to convert secure media formats [DRM'd .wma, .m4p, etc.] that can be obtained from online music sellers like the iTunes Music Store. On a side note, it would behoove you to watch your language in the future. Profanity is not tolerated here on the MDCF, even if it is just an acronym, "wtf". This is a G-Rated board.
