Sonic Stage loses CDDB capability after few recording.

I am using Sonic Stage to copy my CD collection to mini disc via USB and getting CDDB problems.

After a few CDs (sometimes 3-4, sometimes 15-20) the CDDB lookup ceases to function - I can see activity on the line but no track info appears. Only solution which has worked so far is to delete absolutely everything - and re-install - which I have now done about 10 times.

Tried the CDDB rRegister button but it doesn't seem to do anything.

My environment is

Machine MZ-N710,

S/W Sonic Stage 1.5.06 (had same problem on 1.5.5), Open MG 3.1, Open MG/NetMD 3.1

Windows ME

Suggestions please?
