good morning!

I'm lucio from italy.first time I post.just registered....

I've bought (after readig several posts in this forum) a Sharp 420 etc.. md recorder, which I use only for recording rehearsal with my band..

I've tryed to check in (from md to pc through USB and software supplied with md recorder) some tracks to make a cd for my band mates....

permission denied!! a script appears saying I'm not "licenced" ...

I have installed on my pc the cd that was enclosed with the md 420 pack..all origina and brand new..

Can you please help me?? rolleyes.gif

I apologize for my ignorance ........

If you're trying to "upload" your MD recordings to PC, then sorry, you can't do it. The only way to get it onto PC is to playback your MD tracks and record in to your PC in real-time using suitable software.

Check in is only for tracks you have already downloaded from the PC to MD - you are allowed a maximum of 3 check outs (downloads) per track, so check in decreases the check out count. Hope that makes sense.

Only the Hi-MD units (released in June) will allow full uploading capabilities.

I really appreciate your kind help and I'll keep visiting this great forum for more and more information!!

now....another question....

the tracks I record with my band need to be "cleaned" from the initial "click" sound and "counting"...after transfer to pc(..I know...realtime!!!)could I use Magix audio cleaning lab 2004 or Audacity for this pourpose?

thanks again for your patience!! rolleyes.gif
