monkey-monkey
Hi, I am having problems with simpleburner which I really want to use so I can put groups onto my MD's (normally use realplayer) for a long time none of the sony software would work, crash every startup. I reinstalled (although not deleteing all the registry files, ill try that after this post) and now sonicstage, openMG, and simpleburner all open, however neither sonicstage (1.5) oropenmg will detect my player. the driver seemd to work fine in realplayer, and there are no problems appearing on the netMD properties device in xp. simpleburner will detect the disc, but when i try to copy a cd to it, it quickly gives me "Reading from Audio CD is failed. The recording session has stopped" occasionally, i dont know why, it will actually record tracks over to the player, but when I listen to them on the MD, its just silence, the track name and length are correct, but no audio. this is getting quite frustrating and confusing as i dont get the same results when i try different things. right now ill try uninstalling every remnant of this crappy software from my computer and reinstalling again(4th? time?) ill post again when im finished any attempts at help soooo greatly appreciated  oh also, its a ne410, my computer is an athlon xp 2100, 512 megs of ram, and is running xp proffesionnal. its also a handbuilt computer and xp is not factory installed (i remember reading some asinine statement in the manual about the software not working on hand-built systems, what's up with that? Christopher
Easy there. Welcome to the forums, first off. Second - take a deep breath, relax, and do exactly what I say. Go here: http://forums.minidisc.org/viewtopic.php?t=4171 Uninstall OpenMG and Sonicstage as per the directions. Then download Sonicstage 2, here: http://forums.minidisc.org/viewtopic.php?t=4210 And do exactly what it says. Get back to me after that.
