Dementra
*topic* i was wondering what the problem was - should i reset the system's values? Should I send it for repair? Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks
Christopher
Hm. Did you try hacking it, and that's why it's not functioning properly? If so, yes, you should try and reset it. http://www.minidisc.org/sony_mzr_reset.html
Dementra
thanks i guess its just bad luck that i didnt try and get into the menu before i started messing around with the EEPROM values. And also: when you have HOLD on, when you try to press something it flashes HOLD on the screen? If you hit the ENTER button the hold still flashes - does this mean that my enter button is functional, but it doesn't work in conjunction with the FF and FR buttons to go left and right? Dementra
sorry for the x2 post the first try failed I was wondering - for the section where you have to use a power supply, is it essential to the re-getting-back-on-track of the MD player, or is it optional? Secondly, the reset only seems to fix a few aspects of play, and finally thirdly, if you do make a value go bad which isnt listed on that document, is there any way you can get it back? Thanks
