I have absolutely no Idea what i couldve possibly done to make sonicstage be so temperamental with me...

i had a problem with my computer, and i know from past problems that sonicstage doesnt like these, and also gains problems... but have fixed it in the past, but this problem illudes me!

Basically, sonicstage refuses to play or transfer almost all of the .omg files i have on my computer... with this error message when i try to play them:

"There is invalid rights management information in the OpenMG content."

(this error message produced in sonicstage 2.0)

Looking up in the help files about not being able to play these files, it states that they may not play if you have problems with the system registry... but does not tell you how to fix it.

I am losing it with sonicstage now, its stupid!

Can anyone please help me with this problem, I am gettin kinda desperate... I have posted elsewhere with no avail...

Thanks guys

I have had the same problem happen in both OpenMG and SonicStage. I have tried several things. I uninstalled and re-installed to no avail. The only thing that I have seen work is using the backup tool so hopefully you have backed up recently. I had over 20 gigs of music that was corrupt, unplayable and not transferable. I had to learn the hard way of using the back up tool very often (at least once a week or after recording a lot of new material). If you have backed up recently just use the back up tool to restore the files. Otherwise there is no other fix that I know of for this. Hopefully someone else has a better answer than me wink.gif
