AgalsoffMD
I'm having a problem getting a song to check out from my Net MD MZ-N707 Type R Walkman to my computer. I was hoping to use the software that came with the recorder but after troubleshooting I found that becasue the song I wanted to transfer was recorded from another computer using Pro Tools I was unable to bring it over. Bummer! Is there another way to bring the song from my recorder to my computer? I want to eventually burn it onto a CD but I want a copy of it on my computer as well. Can anyone help me? Christopher
You cannot transfer a track through USB via "check in". To transfer the music to your computer, you would either have to get a deck/'shelf with optical out and a sound card with optical in and do a 1:1 digital dub - or go analog, with a male-to-male stereo cable and plug one end in the headphone out on the MD and the other end into the "mic in" on your computer and do a 1:1 analog dub.
