Richard601
 I work for a mental health organisation in the UK and am looking to purchase a mini-disk unit that will enable us to create and record self-help material and upload to a PC, which we can edit and copy onto CD to help our clients. I looked at the net-md but it wouldn't upload to the PC. I understand that a HI-md will upload, but want to purchase one that is simple to use and will allow us to upload recorded material to the PC. Could you let me know what mini-disk you would recommend I purchase?
jadeclaw
You need one with Microphone input, that means the NH-700 and the NH-900 are suitable here. Both allow upload as well. NH-700: http://www.minidisc.org/part_Sony_MZ-NH700.html NH-900: http://www.minidisc.org/part_Sony_MZ-NH900.html Hope this helps.
