Hi.

I have the Sony Net MD MZ-N707 which is about 3 years old. Since I got it I was able to transfer songs across (using the same disc all the time) to it using Open GL Jukebox, although I hadnt used it for a while and after not transferring songs for about 2 months I tried to today. The transfer gets to 9% complete and just stops!

I have never experienced this before although I have 2 computers and I used to do all my transferring on the other computer. I know that the software doesnt like when you switch computers and try transferring from another one (usually comes up with an error). So I tried to transfer from a brand new disc and the same thing has happened and im not sure what to do. Could anyone help me out?

Thanks.

Ben.

Let's set you up with Sonicstage 2. Much better than what you're employing, IMHO.

Uninstall like so:

How to properly reinstall NetMD:

1. Uninstall all OpenMG related software via the Add/Remove Programs control panel and reboot as necessary. This means, OpenMG 2.2, related 'Limited Patches' and the 'Secure Module', SonicStage, Simple Burner, and RealOne. Make sure that you unplug your unit.

2. If you run Windows XP, proceed to delete directories within 'Program FilesAll UsersApplication DataSony Corporation' 'Program FilesCommon FilesSony Shared' 'Program FilesSony' relating to OpenMG.

3. Start -> Run -> regedit. The 'Registry Editor' utility should appear on your screen. Delete the references to OpenMG located under 'HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareSony Corporation' and 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareSony Corporation' by right-clicking on the entries.

Then I want you to come back to this forum [http://forums.minidisc.org/viewforum.php?f=9] and locate Sonicstage 2. Install and be content.
