raymcc85
I in advertantly downloaded the same song twice from the Sony connect store and now I get an error message saying I don't have permission to transfer the song to my minidisc player. Apparently a number of people have this problem as there is a "solution" on the help knowledge base: IQ Knowledge Base Article ID 352312 Re-downloading a track resets the license rights of both tracks to have 0 burn or transfer rights on either song. SOLUTION: If the license rights have been reset to 0 for tracks that have been downloaded from the ConnectTM Music Store, please contact Customer Support. I have contacted customer support but they have yet to contact me (customer support, btw is all via e-mail which to me is WORST kind of support, it very frustrating waiting). It seems this problem should be cleared up immediately. I think it's unacceptable to buy an album and then not have access to it (or worse, to have sony tell me that the only solution is to e-mail customer support and wait for them to fix my problem). Anyone else have this problem? I read a review in USA TODAY (not too favorable) where the writer specifically mentions this problem. Any solutions? Comments? Christopher
Moving this to user opinions.. My comments? Hopefully Sony will realize that this is unacceptable and correct it, but knowing Sony, I doubt that will happen. Maybe in a future build of Connect..
