Hi. I'm a newbie. I need help with SonicStage installed on Windows 2000 Professional. I used to have SonicStage v1.5 installed. It used to work. Then suddenly it had errors saying can't find database file. then I clikced ok to copy a new blank database file. Then it just freezed. Then I installed SonicStage v2. It had the same problem. The difference is whenever I clicked on ok to copy a new blank database, it closes by itself.

Please I need help on this.

But the SonicStage v2 works on my Windows XP Home edition on my laptop.

Thanks

Hiya, and welcome.

This is a software issue, so I will transfer this topic to NetMD. I want you to follow the exact directions within the NetMD FAQ thread and uninstall exactly how it prescribes. After that, install Sonicstage 2 only and reboot after the installation. Write back with your progress..

I have the same prob. Sonicstage crashed while trying to copy some mp3s to Minidisc. When I try to install it tells me the database is corrupted or is missing. I have tried to install re-install multiple times without success. BTW what file(s) is the "database" in. Any help would be appreciated. I'm using my son's laptop to copy songs now. TIA
