Found this on one of my favorite Asian A/V sites. This is probably going to be this year's hottest Hi-MD accessory.

btw, this remote is featured with the NH1, but I have no doubt that many users of lesser Hi-MD portable equipment(s) will seek this remote for superior Hi-MD functionality. These pictures are the first of it's kind and really display the true ability of the remote.

This remote will most likely retail for more than $50 [educated guess, and knowing Sony it could cost all the way up to $100] and has a three-line backlit display.

A great looking remote I must say. I've been waiting a long time for Sony to finally abandon those hopeless stick remotes, ever since the MZ-R50 - I hate, I hate, I hate twist controls! They are the bain of my existence. My favourite remote until now has been the MZ-E3 remote, it wan't backlit but it was exeptionally well designed and easy to operate. The Hi-MD remotes seem to be going back to that old design and I'm most pleased about that.

Hello Hadgu, and welcome to the forums. I have deleted the pictures out of your post because I they're not necessary to show. Perhaps you may want to link them instead next time?

Anyway, the pictures of the remotes you submitted were all during the "beta" phase of Hi-MD. The final version of this remote is the RM-MC40ELK.
