rbracewell
Upgraded to the latest version yesterday and now everytime I attempt to start Sonicstage the PC immediately reboots without warning. Sonicstage seems to get as far as the screen where you can associate the types of music with the application. Has anyone any ideas or pointers? -- RoB
Christopher
I would suggest you uninstall everything and try again. The directions to correctly uninstall this program is located in the FAQ in this forum. Welcome, btw.
rbracewell
I would suggest you uninstall everything and try again.Tried this but this time even worse as soon as the PC boots into W2K it reboots. Previously it would only do it when I started Sonicstage. Anway I un-installed again from Safe mode and am back with V1.5 and all is OK. V2 is not for me then ;-( -- RoB
Christopher
Oh. I had something in mind for you to download that would've fixed this problem, but if you're content with 1.5 then that's ok.

rbracewell
Gave this a whirl same behaviour. Sonicstage simply reboots the PC Oh well back to 1.5 for the time beingI fiinally have this working now. Problem was down to the driver of my Jenoptik Jenreader USB device. If I disable this then all is well. -- RoB
Christopher
Hm. That's odd. I'll have to remember that in the future..glad you have functionality, though.
jadeclaw
That's a Jenoptik problem. I have a JD4100z camera and the included AND an updated driver crashed continuously. Someone else reported a conflict between SonicStage and a PDA synchronizer. It seems, that the SonicStage's portscan is a bit asocial in its behaviour as well.
