animefan22
"The tracks cannot be transferred to the device/media. The remaining transfer count is zero." First of all, what the HECK does that mean?! sorry, I'm a first time md user who chose md over a hdd mp3 player, but unfortunately, have had a less than satisfying experience with it so far. I just bought a Sony MZ-NF520D Net md walkman unit, however, it's not been cooperating as of late, and it's starting to tick me off. First of all, this problem only seems to happen when I try to transfer songs from my computer to md from one particular cd. Sometimes it works when I transfer one song over. However, most times it doesn't work. When I try to transfer a song through sonic stage, and I have to do it individually because it won't transfer the whole thing altogether, it stops right in the middle of the transfer and says some stupid shit like "The tracks cannot be transferred to the device/media. The remaining transfer count is zero." and then it automatically cuts off and the screen says "device/media not connected", even though the usb is obviously still connected in there. Can someone tell me why it won't work? Because it was working fine and dandy when I tried to upload the last two cd's onto md. It only started becoming a problem when I started trying to transfer this particular cd. I'm becoming a little frustrated and am starting to wonder if I might do something to this md recorder if it keeps doing this. >_< Another thing is, the reason why I have to transfer songs by ripping them onto my hard drive THEN burning them onto md using sonic stage and not just directly through the md simple burner, which goes straight from cd to md is because the damn thing doesn't work!!! Everytime I try to use it it freezes up. In fact, I haven't been able to use it once since I bought this damn recorder, and I'm beginning to wonder why I even decided on this stupid md format. >_<
