manwithcleaver
http://www.rjamorim.com/test/multiformat12...28/results.html Wow, last place for Atrac3...but notice that there are really not that many people that tested each song...about 20ish at max However, the only problem I have is that you get hisses with Atrac3, which when I am working or really trying to pick it out, I usually don't hear it. doclloyd
I saw this off Slashdot recently and now here... I was a bit surprised by the results, but then again, i'm not 100% confident in their testing methods. What were their methods? As self-promoting as it may be, some of the tests Sony has done at least had a lot of documentation about the process and it sounded (no pun intended) solid and hard to dismiss as them just patting themselves on the back. DD
I can not open that page. I wonder what kind of ATRAC3 coder they used? It is said that the ATRAC3 coder in OPENMG is some of different with that in chips of walkman, and I like the latter. I also wonder that, why sony used a poorer coder in their PC software?
