woodeeee
I currently use powered stereo microphones for recording live music, plugged into the line in on my r700. gives great sounding recordings just curious if its possible (or worth) somehow converting the analogue in into a digital optical in using an LED or something? as these are powered microphones, powering the LED wouldnt be a problem. are there currently any products on the market? or would it be possibel to make it myself, i have a reasonable electronic ability. roof update: ok ive done a bit of reading up on it apparently itd require an ADC (analogue / digital converter), are there available anywhere. am i being hopeful thatd itd be a small unit that has a jack input and optical output? second update: the Denecke AD-20 is what im rambling on about in essence http://www.core-sound.com/inbox.html are there any cheaper alternatives?
