aob9
Hi all, Up to now I have been able to the info I needed by reading previous threads but now I am completley stuck. After a failed upgrade from sonicstage 1.5 to 2.0 ( i.e the installation aborted halfway through ), I was left with no software on my p.c as the installer had removed it. When I tried to re-install s.s 1.5 I kept getting botched or faulty installations, the software refused to import files or copy from cd. However, it was able to recognise my nw-ms7 walkman. I found this link (http://forums.minidisc.org/viewtopic.php?t=4767)on this forum and followed all instructions to the letter..............Hooray! a working installation of sonicstage 2.0. BUT...........it will not see my walkman , WINDOWS ( xp pro ) can see my walkman, it even refers to it as 'sony memory stick media' but Sony's own software cannot see Sony's own walkman. I have uninstalled and re-installed until my hard disk screamed in pain from the re-boots. Please help, I am at my wits end with Sony. Incidentally, my walkman or driver are not faulty, they both work on my laptop with s.s 2.0. I would settle for that only I have 5GB of music on my P.C that I cannot transfer because of Sony's wonderful copyright protection?@<:~}{
Christopher
Moving this to the correct forum. If you don't have luck with us, I advise you try a forum dedicated to the product in question. Whilst we try our best here to troubleshoot Sonicstage issues, we can't cover all devices supported within.
