Wufei
hi hi all. I’ve had my MZ-N510 since December, its been mostly with out problems since I’ve got it. However, it seams ever since I tried getting Sony's newest release of SS I cant get its program to work at all(1.5 or 2). After installing the new patch for SS(2) and finding i could not even load the program(i could click the exe an error would occur and the program would not even load) I tried uninstalling and putting just SS 1.5 on(old reliable). After uninstalling SS ,and deleting all folders I could find relating to it, I still could not get 1.5 to work. I now keep receiving the same error "Cannot locate the application required. exiting application." then followed by "Omgjbox.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close." the program freezes after loading a for a second or so and starts with the errors. Id rather not be forced to flatten my HD or something to that effect so any suggestions would be appreciated including other programs to use with my MD player. Oh, also I’ve tried installing and uninstalling every which way I can with no luck.
Christopher
I'm answering a bunch of NetMD questions today, aren't you lucky. Welcome! Anyway, I want you to uninstall via the directions in the NetMD faq [registry edits and all]. I then want you to install Sonicstage 2 ONLY and if you still get this message, download this: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/results...&DisplayLang=en ..and the one relevant to your operating system. Good luck..
