anti Posted June 7, 2004 Report Share Posted June 7, 2004 hey! ive had trouble converting my md's to cd i usually just plug it into my computer and use cool edit to record my md to wav. however my computer recently crashed and needed to be reformated since then everytime i try to transfer mds on to my computer they come out really distorted. mp3s and games play ok, but when i plug my md played into the input on my computer the sound which comes out of my computer is distorted. ive tried downloading updated drivers but they still dont work. i have a intel ® 82801 ba/bam ac'97 integrated audio controller, and the sound driver which came with my computer is an avance ac97 sound driver (tho im not sure if this was on my computer before or just was on a cd which came with my computer). I don't believe it's a MD issue, though..perhaps you may want to try a related forum [to your motherboard] that could entertain this question better? Unless anyone else has some ideas? Make sure that you have the most updated driver, though..I believe you'll be able to check it at windowsupdate.microsoft.com if you're on a Windows machine.
