babawax Posted June 8, 2004 Report Share Posted June 8, 2004 My netmd mz-n510 who i own for only 3 weeks is dead! for no reson i can see?! i was just loading some mp3's on him and when i unplugged the usb conction it was dead! and there is a smell of a bit of smoke from it like it was short circit or somthing... can any one plz tall my why and wtf? can i do about it? thank to ever who repley my. This is the first time I've ever heard of an issue like this - so you're telling me that your Minidisc player suddenly died and eminated a smoke smell? Can you even turn the unit on? No i can't get it to work and it was concted to the ac/dc adaptor i should say that becuse i am in isreal and the wall socet here work in 230v not 120v like the ones in the usa i cant use the orignel ac/dc adaptor that comes in the box but i do have the altrnative one that the store provieds with all the netmd units they sell and am quiet sure thing like this dont happen all the time...
