jalex
I just purchased a Sony Net MD MZ-N410 mini disc player. I know it's the cheapest one they make but if I like the way it works I'll upgrade. Will this play only back in ATRAC3 format or will it also play minidiscs from a home audio recorder? I was thinking of picking up a minidisc player/recorder for my home audio system and was woundering it these discs would play in the ATRAC3 palyers. I see that there are losts of software issues with Net MD and was tring to avoid them. I have not received the unit yet, but was tring to bet a jump start. Thanks, jalex
jadeclaw
The N410 plays everything a current home deck can produce. The discs produced by the N410 can be played back in any MDLP-capable player/recorder/home deck. Hi-MD units play these as well.
jalex
Thanks for the fast response. Great! I may have a look on ebay to see about a MD home audio unit. I have learned so much from these forums. It's nice to have a place where you can get real answers. The unit just arrived. I'll post my progress here. THANKS, jalex
