I see alot of people getting these but they all seem to be getting it after upgrading or installing for the first time.

My first instance of this error happened today after a long stretch of sonicstage 2.0 working perfectly(I started using SS2 around when Iceeedtea released his build). At first, I tried to import an m3u for the MD swap i'm a part of on the Minidisc T board and it gave me an omgjbox.exe error. Okay, no biggie. Since my last MD recording, I only had 3 notable changes to my PC. I installed PCMark2k4 and that has issues with my WM stuff, reinstalled WMP as well as misc codecs (divx etc), and changed my default browser to firefox. I thought it may be the last one that was causing the problem so I temporarily removed firefox and did a full reinstall of ss2.0 (as per the netmd reinstallation faq).

A fresh installation and a few reboots later, I can import music into my library but the moment I try to transfer, the error pops up again. Because of this, I think that maybe there are codec problems and I do a little digging and I think I saw a post saying I had to install some fraunhofer mp3 decoder so I do that and do a nother reinstall and voila! The error still happens.

Next in line is to try the MS Jet that was mentioned in another thread. I update that and do yet another full reinstallation. The error is still there.

Moving along, I tried that Ojbsir.exe that Kurisu (hey my name is chris too ohmy.gif) recommended but it tells me it can't connect to the internet (i'm on a DSL LAN).

Lastly, I try installing the "official" ss2.0 release (I was using Iceeedtea's build formerly downloaded from my friend on the Tboards, Nblack. It worked great til now). I did a full uninstall and started the offical ss2.0 installation. After all those formalities are done, the error is still there.

I switched to ss2.0 because it was a helluva lot easier than the m3u2sb/sb method and the transfers were alot faster. Reformatting my Hard Disk at the moment isn't an option because I have already committed my entire music library to this system and it would be a nightmare backing everything up.

All that being said, is there anything I can do to restore my Sonicstage 2.0 to its former glory?

Thanks in advance and I apologize for any spelling/grammar mistakes, I'm pretty frustrated at this point because I'm already late on my MD swap deadline.

Oh by the way, if you need my PC specs, I'm running Windows XP Pro. Everything is pretty much updated according to windowsupdate.com. Also running a p4 2.4ghz 800mhz fsb Shuttle ST61G4 SFF. Sound card is an Audigy 2 zs plat pro, my bios is the current release. If you need to know anything else, just gimme a buzz.
