mechalynx
hiya guys! this is my 1st post on this forum ever and i'm in serious need of help. i got my first net md mz-n510 last fall (sometime in october, i think) and it has been running smoothly up until yesterday. i'd just ripped 2 cds into mp3's and was recording them onto my md when after a few files sonicstage aborte the session stating that it couldn't support the files. then i tried with wma - same thing. so i switched from sonicstage 1.5 to 2.0 - and it still won't work. i'm starting to think it might be my md messing up, but before i chuck it out the window i'd like to know if there's a way to fix this. btw i'm a total n00b when it comes down this kind of stuff so if you can, please keep it simple. tnx... Christopher
This stuff isn't too difficult, I promise. Welcome.. Anyway, when you installed Sonicstage 2, did you uninstall Sonicstage 1.5 appropriately [as per the directions in the NetMD FAQ thread]? If not, uninstall via the aforementioned directions and install Sonicstage 2 only. Tell me what's up after that..

mechalynx
never mind. i didn't uninstall it completely and was punished for that. now i've tracked down every single sonic related file and removed it, then reisntalled it again. it works yet again! thanx for the help.
