new and confused as to how to transfer music onto the player

I just got a wony psyc md player and it's the first one i've ever owned and i've never dealt with minidiscs before. when i try to transfer music onto it, only 15 songs will transfer then it says the disc is full. do i have to convert files or something like that? i'm using the sonicstage software that came with the player and using files that are already on my hard drive.

i've tried to figure this out and can't, any help would be greatly appreciated.

i just can't figure out what i'm doign wrong that it only allows me to transfer a few songs instead of the 5 hours of music on one disc that it promises me.

It says up to 5 hours.

You can get up to 5 hours in LP4 mode. I think you may be trying to use the Fake SP mode? I suggest you use LP2 for a good compromise between sound quality and storage capacity. In LP2 you can store around 2½ hours.
