mutiny
First of, hello all. Ive been lurking around for a little while on the forum and on the webpage. However i just bought a AIWA amnx9 and 10 discs to get me started, they were going cheap and i thought i might as well dip my feet in. I just have a one question. Im not worried about the restrictions that sonic stage places on the music on the md as i dont think id use any of the things it locks anyway. However i am concerned that the program appears to be tied in quite tightly with the internet. What happens if you just give it a normal mp3 file, for instance one that has been ripped off a cd? I have previously ripped quite a few albums onto my hard drive, some of which i have now lost/given away and although i understand the method with nero and the imaging tools etc it sounds a little bit long winded every time i wanted to transfer music. I previously had an aiwa mp3 player that used the liquid audio service and that thing was an absolute pain in the rectum tbh. Not only was the software completely unstable but it constantly wanted to monitor what i was doing and acess the internet. I dont necessarily have anything to hide but all the same i dont like the idea of software transferring information about me behind my back. In short, will sonic stage kick up a fuss if i just give it an mp3 file to send to the md player? Thanks in advance for your help
