DomConway Posted June 25, 2004 Report Share Posted June 25, 2004 Just after a bit of clarification before I install SS2 on a new PC. What's the difference between all the versions available? I've managed to gather that iceeedtea's build includes drivers and doesn't include DX9 support(?) - so does the official one not include the NetMD drivers? Also, there are 2 versions on http://connect.com/download.html - is the only difference that the 'standard' version doesn't include audio CD burning? And what disadvantages are there of these versions compared to iceeedtea's one? I know that iceeedtea's build seemingly has the best overall functionality and isn't as resource-intensive as the others [i've heard that comment from a few people], and seems to be preferred.
