Whitenoise/ hiss at low volume..

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem or something similar. If they have noticed, a continuous hiss, or whitenoise at low levels of a recording.

Even when the volume is set to 0 it's still there an only goes away when the pause button is pressed, or play back is stoped.

I've tried recording through different devices, digital, stero, computer, it's still there on each.

Another person had a similar problem, but I couldnt locate a solution, or conclusion.....http://forums.minidisc.org/viewtopic.php?p=22466

I find, I can even notice this listening to music at volume below 6 or 5.

I have a Sony Mz-n 910.
