Hi,

i am running winxp home edition and want to use it with my MZ-N910. I already had the the system (SonicStage 2.0) working with my device.

Some day (and i cannot remember having done anything special that might have caused this) the computer could not make a connection to my net md device anymore. whenever i plugged the unit in it said that it was an unknown device.

So i uninstalled everything using the method described in this forum by iceeedtea (including manually deleting sony files and registry entries etc).

after reinstalling only the drivers the problem wasnt solved. i noticed that i also couldnt use other usb devices (like my digicam) anymore. i uninstalled the drivers again and this time i also removed the usb controller / root hubs from my device manager.

after restart the usb controller / root hubs were reinstalled by windows and my digicam could be properly found! so i installed the netmd drivers one more time. the result was that none of my usb devices (digicam etc) couldnt be found anymore. of course my netmd unit could not be detected by the system as well....

does anyone know what i can do to solve this?

thank you in advance
