StingerDL
Hi, Im having trouble playing OMG files I ripped about a month ago. The error messege reads as "There is an Invalid Rights Management Information In the openMG content" I think it was caused when i clicked to create a new database when I reinstalled. If there is anyway to fix this, please any help is appriciated.
Christopher
Welcome. Back up your OMG files, and then uninstall via the NetMD faq [found in the NetMD forum] and install Sonicstage 2 from connect.com.
StingerDL
I followed the directions in the NetMD Forum carefully and I installed Sonys Connect, and still i get the same error.
aeriyn
Is all your music in the OpenMG format? If so, I don't know what else you can do. But if all your music is also in MP3 format, simply delete all the OpenMG files, uninstall your old versions of SonicStage. Then install SonicStage 2.0 and import all your MP3s and other music files back into the database. Sure, it'll have to re-encode everything into ATRAC3, but that's not a real big deal. Just takes a bit of time.
