cwillets
i am having problems with my md player. i connect the standard audio rca jacks, red and white to the appropriate slots and connect them to my receiver in its appropriate slots, but i still get no signal. i know it is not the receiver's problem because i can get sound from the local radio, but my md player can read the disc fine, it plays it fine, but there is no sound coming out. what can be the problems here? could it be that my minidiscs cannot be played in my current player, even though it can read the track names and such? or are my rca jacks just not good anymore on the minidisc deck itself? i also tried using a pair of headphones plugged in the md player, but i still get no sound. thanks. by the way my minidisc player is a sony mds-je510 my minidiscs are atrac3, and i used the lp4 mode to record(could this be the problem?) from my netmd. i cant believe the netmd's recording would not work on my mds je510 though. Bananatree
The Je510 doesn't play LP mode. You will need to record in SP mode to play through your je510.
