rkotwal
I have a MZ-N910 which I use to record seminars I give. I've noticed on a number of occasions (seem to be random) that the recording stops without warning. Recording mode is LP2 and the disc is always erased completely before starting. Last week, it recorded for 39 minutes, then stopped, everything went off etc. When I started it again on another disc, it was fine. Today I'm doing a test. The recording stopped after 2 minutes. Now its been going for 120 minutes and is fine. The unit is only 5 months old and I've only used it a few times. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks,
Christopher
Hello, and welcome to the forums. Were you drawing off battery power whilst recording or were you using an AA-adapter? You may want to try a different battery.
rkotwal
Thanks for the welcome! ;-) It was off battery power - the original ni battery. I've since taken it out and reseated it after having cleaned the terminals with methalated spirit. So far it's been going for 8 hours and I'm deliberately discharging the battery to see what happens.
